Protect Gaga's gun bra

Since when has activist Lady Gaga been in good taste? Her meat carcass dress was insensitive to vegetarians and the animals sacrificed to create it. Her lettuce dress was a waste of edible greens. Her latex outfit was dangerous and offensive to victims of latex allergy. Her latest rifle bra outfit is meant to get even more attention and outrage. And the outraged are obediently percolating .

A couple thoughts occur.

*These odd outfits stimulate discussion. That’s good. Let Gaga continue her speech unhampered like American artists who created “artworks” on Christianity using urine and elephant dung did. Most of us here believe that if offensive speech is not protected free speech is dead.

*Practical note: Concealed carry could be a challenge for this undergarment, which is not likely to show up at Victoria Secret’s or in NRA fashion pages anytime soon. But one has to admit that even such a goofy Brassiere could stop violent criminals if properly loaded.

Health Care Exchanges Event.

The Racine TEA Party held an event this afternoon on Healthcare Exchanges and what they mean to you.

Somewhere around 300 people attended the event at Southills Country Club.  Speakers included Congressman Paul Ryan, The Cato Institute's Mike Tanner, State Assembly Speaker Robin Vos and State Senator Leah Vukmir.

I recorded the event and the videos are currently uploading to Youtube.  You can view those videos here.  They should all be uploaded by Monday morning.
