What's your favorite song?

No time for MRQ this week, I'll get it right next year.

Mrs. RDW and I had an interesting discussion about our favorite songs this evening.  After hearing Ventura Highway I said that has to be  in my top 10.  Then I got to thinking what is my top 10?  So I sat down and made a list.

My top 10 is my top 10 for various reasons: passion, musicality, memories each of ours will be our own for various reasons so what are a few of your favorites?  The only rule for my list in NO BEATLES SONGS.  (I am so sick of The Beatles)

You'll know most of these, some you may have never heard of but please give them a listen and share your own!

10.  Delbert McClinton – Givin’ It up For Your Love
9.  Vinnie James – Hey Geronimo
8.  Mercy Me – I Can Only Imagine
7.  Willie Nelson – Blue Eyes Crying in the Rain
6.  Toto - Africa
5.  Ray Charles – America The Beautiful
4.  Paul Simon – The Boxer
3.  Big Daddy Weave – Audience of One
2.  America – Ventura Highway
1.  The Eagles – Hotel California

I have been so bothered by the Newton incident that I have stopped watching TV for the most part and have tried to avoid any online reports on the incident.
What more do I need to know? Some dude shot and killed little children. Everything else “news”-wise, just seems to be the opinions of those that were not there, don’t know all the the facts or pundits views on what should be banned to prevent these incidents. So shut it, “reporters.” Yeah, this incident really continues to bother me.

Of the little news I have seen on the matter, it seems the root cause of this incident was probably just guns. And of course, violent video games. And movies.
It wasn’t the psycho who decided it was a good idea to kill children. It was guns.
I’m just curious, however, what kind of law would it take to stop someone – who thinks it’s a good idea to go into an elementary school and kill children – from getting a gun? Maybe if he would have seen the “Gun Free Zone” sign before he went in, all this could have been avoided? Maybe it’s the school’s fault for not have that sign prominent enough?

This may surprise some of you, but I’m for banning all guns.
Also while we’re at it, lets prevent any future copycats by being proactive:
I say we also ban light sabers now, before its too late. And we should probably pull Star Wars off the shelves, too.

Seems logical, right?

In the wake of calls to ban guns due to a murder/suicide involving a Kansas City Chief player it becomes clearer than ever that the following actions need to be taken.

We need to ban railroad crossings.

Come to think of it we need to ban trains.

We need to ban cars.

We need to ban hunting (especially gun hunting)

We need to ban home bathrooms.

We need to ban stairs.

We need to ban bicycles, they kill people.

Snow shoveling kills people, it should be banned.

Football kills, ban it.

Running, especially in marathons kills, ban running.

Marriage kills, ban it (Except gay marriage of course)

Tell Governor Walker: NO Obamacare exchanges for Wisconsin!

Just four months ago Governor Walker rejected Obamacare as a "massive tax increase." He said he wanted to "to put the power back in the hands of the people at the state and the local level, not be driven by a federal mandate.” But now he is considering setting up "state-run" exchanges due to pressure from some businesses that would profit.

What ever happened to the will of the people, the vast majority, who rejected this law that risks fines, higher costs, loss of personal choice, potential for citizen micro-chipping and death panels, etc., etc. (you have to read it to find out what's in it...)?

Jay Weber said this morning that any Obamacare will still be controlled by the feds, despite calling an option "state-run." Michael Cannon, a health policy analyst at the libertarian Cato Institute wrote, “A state-created exchange is not a state-controlled exchange. All exchanges will be controlled by Washington.”

They are right. The law is so utterly unwieldly that even letting it get a foot, or a giant pinky, in the door here is dangerous. It's kind of like inviting a vampire into your house. DON'T DO IT!

Contact Governor Walker today and ask him to not set up ANY Obamacare exchanges here. The decision may be made this week!

Election 2012 - What Happened?

From a teacher in the Neillsville area.
"We are worried about 'the cow' when it is all about the 'Ice Cream.'
The most eye-opening civics lesson I ever had, was while teaching 3rd grade.
The Presidential election was heating up and some of the children showed an interest.

I decided we would have an election for a class president.
We would choose our nominees. - They would make a campaign speech and the class would vote.

To simplify the process, candidates were nominated by other class members.

We discussed what kinds of characteristics these students should have.

We got many nominations and from those, Jamie and Olivia were picked to run for the top spot.

The class had done a great job in their selections. Both candidates were good kids.
I thought Jamie might have an advantage because he got lots of parental support.
I had never seen Olivia's mother.  The day arrived when they were to make their speeches.
Jamie went first.
He had specific ideas about how to make our class a better place.
He ended by promising to do his very best.
Everyone applauded and he sat down.
Now is was Olivia's turn to speak.
Her speech was concise. She said, "If you will vote for me,

I will give you ice cream." She then sat down.
The class went wild. "Yes! Yes! We want ice cream."
She surely would say more. She did not have to.

A discussion followed.
How did she plan to pay for the ice cream?
She wasn't sure. But no one pursued that question. They took her at her word.

Would her parents buy it or would the class pay for it... She didn't know.
The class really didn't care. All they were thinking about was ice cream...

Jamie was forgotten. Olivia won by a landslide.

Every time Barack Obama opened his mouth he offered ice cream. And 51.4 % of the people reacted like nine year olds. They want FREE ice cream. The other 48.6% percent know they're going to have to feed the cow and clean up the mess.

This is the ice cream Obama promised us!

Remember, the government cannot give anything to anyone.
That they have not first taken away from someone else.

Did you vote for the ice cream?

A friend sent me this - an extremely accurate analysis of what happened on election day 2012.  (I tried to find the original source and could not but it is showing up on several websites and other blogs.  It apparently goes back to the 1st Term of Emperor Obama but it still applies today).

November 8, 2012

Missed it by this much...But we are still winning!

OK first off Obama won, he won small not big.. He hasn't changed the momentum of the TEA Party..maybe a little slow down; but we aren't going away.

First of all Obama was down 10 Million voters, and the GOP was only down 2.5 Million.  Mitt lost by 2.5 Million, who are these people?  Researching now to determine who they were.  If we had gotten those folks to the polls we'd win and the demographic numbers would be pretty much the same as 2008..but our side would've won.  In the 10 swing states they all went less for Obama than 2008..that means we are winning, even if we didn't capture the Flag.

Several states like Wisconsin had big increases in State control by the GOP candidates.  Only a few House seats changed hands.   While we lost a few Senate seats..we are still way ahead of where we were on th eFirst day of November 2010..a week later we took the House and Senate and Governorship's and State legislatures..we essentially held our ground in what Prez Obama called a "Shellacking" back in Nov 2010.

So while we fell short of the Presidential race..It was one of the closest losses ever against a sitting President.  had the vote been a week earlier or Hurricane Sandy hadn't landed when it did Romney Ryan would've won as predicted by Karl Rove, Michael Barone and others.

The post-mortum on all the round tables is that the TEA Party is hurting the GOP. BS I say, The fact is R&R ran an economics based election and they just barely missed winning.  It's not time to change our position on amnesty for's not time to embrace abortion or gay marriage or birth control pills for law students.

We are being asked to make an outreach to Hispanics...I think our party already is the outreach for them and over the years as they become wealthier and more successful they will find themselves at home in the GOP based on family, personal responsibility, and rewarding success.  We currently get about 70% of the Latino voters.  We do much worse than that in California. but California is a lost cause for us these days.  the rest of the countries Latins are more open to our message.  As for the "black" vote..  Obama did very well with them in both election cycles 2008 & 12.. around 94%  but historically the GOP gets about 12-15%., When the candidate isn't Black we should see this number back to normal.  As more middle class blacks earn more and become business owners we'll grab back about 1 % every 2 years for another generation I think.

So all of this angst about the GOP and the TEA Party needing to Kow-Tow to these micro groups is just silly.  Stay focused primarily on Taxes, Spending and the "Economy Stupid" and we'll continue to grow our majorities...For now hold Obama in check and don't give him anything.  He is a lame-duck.and is unable to lead at anything.  2014 is just around the corner.

November 6, 2012

Status after 4 years of Obama on the night he got re-elected:

Gas: $3.462/gallon

Debt: $16,000,000,000,000+

Unemployment: 7.9%

What will these numbers be a year from today?
4 years from today?
When will the US default on its loans?

New York turning red? So sayeth Aaron Kreel who overheard a union guy or something....

I in no way stand by the accuracy of the prediction of my friend Aaron Kreel, but hey dude has been on the bad streets of New York and he made a prediction, I found it interesting... Read with caution.

I'm going to make a long shot prediction: New York state goes to Romney. I know it sounds nuts, but here's why I think it's possible...

I've been working in a trade union environment, in NYC, for months. There has been more open anti-Obama sentiment than I would have expected. In fact one admitted life-long, self-proclaimed Union Democrat told me today that he was considering a Romney vote because he didn't see a future in Obama. Yes, that's anecdotal. I think it's evidence of waning support for Obama, though.

Now, the entire city of New York is distracted by hurricane clean up and more significantly: gas lines. Are liberals or conservatives more likely to go out tomorrow in spite of the cost to themselves (in discomfort and gasoline) to vote? First of all, I believe the conservatives are far more energized about their candidate right now. Second, the Democrat base is far more likely to excuse themselves from voting because it's too inconvenient for them.

I'm not saying it's right or it's wrong, fair or unfair. Just watch what the real impact of the hurricane is on the election. The media is predicting it will hurt Romney. I'm not sure that I agree.

Also, be aware that NY and NJ are improvising solutions to voting issues (no power, displaced voters, etc.) as we speak. This includes ideas like VOTE BY FAX, and vote by voucher. Needless to say, the potential for abuse (and confusion) is high.

Tomorrow night will be interesting...

State Assembly Candidate Tom Weatherston at the Racine TEA Party.

Pam Stevens, hopefully my next State Senator.

Racine TEA Party 10-27-12

Emcee, James T. Harris.

Racine TEA Party videos.

I have lots of video from the TEA Party event in Racine today.  I'll be uploading and posting as time allows.

Vandalism at the Racine TEA Party. Such Coexistyness in Wisconsin these days.

The Racine TEA Party had an event today at the old Sam's Club site in Racine.  Parking lot attendants found the lot covered in nails today as they arrived.

Aluminum roofing nails were strewn about all over the parking lot.  Despite the best efforts of the volunteers to clean up all the nails one attendee from Mayville had extensive damage done to their vehicle.  A police report was taken about the vandalized vehicle.  Attendees of the Racine TEA Party were warned several times to check around their vehicles to ensure there were no presents left by the nail litterers.

The picture above is just a small sampling of the nails left in the parking lot.

No doubt these items were left by some peace loving members of the Coexist crowd.  The same bunch of pacifist activists that assaulted Kyle Wood, a gay Republican in Madison for the crime of not being a gay liberal and of course working against Mark Pocan in the fight over Tammy Baldwin's vacated Congressional seat.

Of course the attack on Kyle Wood was preceded by the assault on Sean Kedzie in Whitewater for the outrage of not wanting his Romney/Ryan signs stolen from his home.  Sean was beaten and choked.  If not for the intervention of neighbor he believes he may have been killed.

This is the same crowd that lectured us in the wake of the tragic Tuscon shootings (done by a leftist) that the level of rhetoric was simply too inflamed in politics in our society.

So people in the next ten days please watch your backs and check under your tires.  On November the 7th be extra careful with any coexisters you see out there, they are going to be in a really bad mood and they're going to want to make someone pay for the redistribution of power that is due on election day.

Stay vigilant and report anything you see to the police.  And by all means do not stoop to the level of Coexist crowd, someone has to keep the peace.

Obama thong a big seller.

All rightie then, we are officially in the silly season of politics.

I got an email yesterday from Cafe Press bringing my attention to the apparent fact that among Presidential election underwear sales the Obama thong is leading the way.

They even have a graph to highlight the sales.

Not only are they tracking pro-candidate underwear but they offer an anti-candidate chart as well.

Cafe Press also offered up staff members for interviews or more information on these important election trends.

All I know for sure is more Obama supporters are putting their money where their privates are.  I don't think this matters in the least about how people as a whole will actually vote.

For me, I'll not consider thong trends as part of my vote.  As far as a clothing endorsement, I recommend Wiggywear.

One rule for me, another for thee

Just got back from checking in person absentee voting at Racine City Hall.  Everything appeared to be going smoothly.  I did, however, have occasion to point out to Deputy City Clerk Donna Deuster that democrat observer/flunkie, Kelly Gallaher, resplendent in her electric yellow observer vest, was violating GAB rules regarding election observers.  Gallaher, who chastises others for perceived violations of GAB rules in her "anonymous" root river skank blog, was illegally conversing with voters in the polling place - probably the single biggest infraction an observer can commit.  Kelly knows full well that she is not allowed to interact with voters, but she figures that she does not have to follow the same rules as the rest of us.

We're watching you Kelly, as much as that idea hurts our eyes...

The Tide has turned..Obama is losing. My Predictions 2 weeks out.

I know and the media now knows that Obama is going to lose.

Is anyone else sensing the TURN of the "Tide"????  I am feeling it, and smelling it.  Most of us know that  the main stream media has been running cover for Obama for 5 years now.  Very little "Vetting" or investigation at the beginning..very little pressure to do press conferences.   Softball interviews on the View, and morning rock shows asking him about food and what kind of superhero he'd be.  the list goes on...

Just in the past 2 days.... the tide has shifted.   BIG TIME!!  First the New York Times now has the Benghazi story on the FRONT page, top of the fold.  CBS now has it's reporters chasing down the "Fast and Furious" story and even Eric Holder.  Guess what's happened?  The press has decided that Obama is going to lose, and saving him is no longer of any value to them.  The long knives are out and the questions are gonna get seriously tougher and the demands will be huge.  He's gonna look more tired and more "grey" as the last 2 weeks go by.  At the same time Mitt Romney is funny, and smiling and looking and acting "kool" and confident.

Look for the Sunday shows to be very tough on Obama and his talking head minions.  I suspect Romney will be very well informed on the "TERROR" incident, and will not let it go on Monday night.  Once the break begins, there is no turning back for the media, they want to win Pulitzers..and they're not gonna let a good story escape, if there is no downside and Prez Obama is going down anyway.  This will lead to a bigger win than many folks have expected maybe even 7-8 points...Watch all the Senate races fall the same direction over the next 2 weeks.

My 2 weeks prediction is:
Romney 53
Obama 46
Gary Johnson 1%
320+ EV for Romney  (Includes Wisconsin for Romney).

The Senate goes 54-46 GOP

Less than 5 seats switch either way in the House. The GOP adds 2 more Governors which I think makes 31-19

I think GOP wins the following Senate races:
Wisconsin, Nebraska, North Dakota,, Massachusetts, Missouri, Virginia, Montana
And then either Connecticut, Pennsylvania or Florida!

Subject matter of recent Bice columns in order:  Thompson, Thompson, Thompson, Thompson, Neumann, County Lobbyist, Everest, Everest, Black, Black, Walker/Black, Thompson, Ryan, Hovde, Dems plan to attack Ryan if he is VP, Wall, attack private businessman that is Obama critic.

Yeah, that's some real balanced column material Dan...

If you read him you would have no idea how radical Tammy Baldwin is of but you'll  know that Tommy Thompson has a home in Florida.

So now 71 year olds having a Florida home is a bad thing?

Dane County Incompetent Excuse for a Sheriff Refuses to Stop Election Fraud

So the Dane County Sheriff is, by his own admission, guilty of malfeasance in office as well as aiding and abetting in the commission of a felony - and just like some of our Racine officials, attacks the messenger who points out his unwillingness to do the job he was sworn to do.

Today's program has been brought to you by the letter L and the number 54,232,617.

So team Obama puts out an ad using Big Bird and it turns out they did not ask permission, Sesame Street has asked Obama to pull the ad.

The letter L stands for liberals and lies.

In fact their singularly stupid focus about cutting the PBS subsidy says all you need to know about liberals.

Where PBS is concerned we are still operating in a 1960's funding model when there was limited programming available.  That isn't the case anymore with the explosion of cable, satellite and internet programming there is no lack of educational programming, in fact there is more of it than ever.

There is no reason for our  government to assist in funding something that exists in large supply in the marketplace.

And what is the liberal's view?  To cut funding for something that should be able to support itself in the free market is considered a ridiculous position to them.  A position worthy of being ridiculed, a position worthy of creating political attack ads using trademarked material without permission apparently.

Payroll by Sesame Street in 2009 was $54,232,617.  This from an outfit that produces 26 new episodes per year.  How many 1%ers are in that $54,232,617?  (For the record that is the answer to the guess the number post a few posts below this)  If you'd like to see their 2009 tax return here it is...

Does this look like an organization with a cash flow problem?  Gee they spend money on Tickle me Elmo advertising, why couldn't they sell some advertising of their own in order to support their bloated payroll?

Saturday night I saw old hateful Tom Barrett on the TV at a Paul Ryan event saying the people want us to attack Wall Street not Sesame Street.  Sorry Tom, pulling funding from an outfit capable of supporting itself is not an attack.  And for the record why do you wish to attack the financial center of our country where my retirement money and union pension funds are invested?  Do you not understand the fact that when you attack Wall Street you hurt all of us?  No he doesn't, liberals attack business at every opportunity.  But Tom Barrett is apparently in favor of government subsidies for millionaire puppeteers.

Tom Barrett, Barack Obama and the others liberals think the path to prosperity is to attack business, regulate and tax more and continue to choose rich people that they like to give money borrowed from China to.  That's not political spin, that is a fact.

Frankly the liberal reaction to this should tell you all you need to know about the letter L and the number 54,232,617.

How about a moment for another topic as we wait for the next debate? In case you don't read the CapTimes, here is my letter from last week that exposes records of the Public Service Commission of Wisconsin, showing a pattern of denial of resident requests to not have "smart" utility meters on their homes. Not everyone embraces having more wireless, especially on their own living space.

The FCC guidelines for exposure to radiofrequency radiation do not protect anyone from non-thermal effects, only microwave heating levels. How did this happen? A scientist, who researched radiofrequency biological effects recently made a statement about what happened. This thesis also explains the unusual trail of decision-making, unlike most public protection policy.

Meanwhile, while scientists and experts continue to duke it out on the safety of pulsed radiofrequency (to the delight of the industry), individuals ought to at least have the right to use a safe, dependable, economical, private analog meter for electric/gas/water utilities. Whose home it is anyhow?

It takes a government....

Government over family.  Have you seen the Obama attack ad making fun of Romney for suggesting asking your parents for help with college is a bad thing?

Barack Obama actually has an advertisement out that suggests relying on family rather than government is a ridiculous proposition.  If you weren't sure about Obama's stance of government above all else you should be now.

Only in Obamaland is asking your family for assistance considered a reasonable subject for an attack ad.

Can every family help, obviously not.  But suggesting that to ask is somehow wrong is completely ridiculous.

For all the talk the liberals give us about wanting moderates, any position other than a radical government leftist solution to them is somehow viewed as wrong.

They just get worse and worse.

The only solution that should be viewed from this is that Barack Obama is anti-family.

An Epic Debate Beatdown.

One thing should be clear after the debate tonight. Obama has been sheltered and protected from any serious questioning of the job he has done and the damage his policies have done to this country. Tonight for the first time he had to face some reality and someone who held him accountable.

He'll be better next time, but so will Romney.

The real loser tonight was the Media as they have been shown to be complete frauds for propping up this empty suit.

Voter ID is disenfranchisement, but screwing deployed soldiers out of their vote is just fine...

So, lets recap, shall we: Requiring someone to undertake the minimal effort of visiting their DMV office to get their free ID is disenfranchisement, but screwing deployed soldiers out of their right to vote is just fine...
Anyone want to take odds on whether or not Racine is on the list?

Hey, Mr. NFL Head Dude....
Your replacement referees cost the Packers a victory tonight.

You are supposed to me Mr. Integrity so what are you going to do about it?  Nothing would be my guess.

The inept officials were a complete disgrace on a national stage and the Seahawks should be embarrassed.

You are all about protecting the NFL Shield, what about the integrity of the game?  From my living room the NFL had its integrity ripped away tonight.
What are you going to do to fix this travesty Commissioner?

Fred Dooley

Monday Night Football.

If the Commissioner of the NFL had an ounce of integrity he would vacate that bullcrap result and award the Packers the victory that the P.O.S. replacement referees just stole from them.

So.... About that ridiculous crowd estimate from the Obama event in Milwaukee this weekend.....

Mayor Barrett, was the source.... Shame on you Tom.

Why isn't this story being told by the Media?

Palermo's workers being harassed at their homes.

The truly despicable Christine Nuemann-Ortiz and the thugs at Voces de la Frontera are using intimidation tactics at people's homes in the effort to try and unionize Palermo's workers.

Typical thuggish behavior from the hate left.  Where is Georgia Pabst on this one?
