Party ID is shifting and holding & the GOP is ahead!
Since 2004 Rasmussen Reports has been tracking Party affiliation. Most of the past 50 years the Dem's have had the lead in affiliation across the country, since this tracking began it has been consistently D over R. Occasionally the R's get close but then the D's pull away.In 2008 and 2009 the D's were around 40% and the R's were around 32% behind by as much 8.5% at on point. From Jan 2004 thru Nov 2010 the D's were ahead every single month..but something happened in November 2010. The success of the TEA Party and it's connection with the Republican's was seen as good place for 36% of the people to self identify with! In December it moved to 37% and was a 3.3% advantage over the D's. All in the 7 months since the first time the R's overtook the D's 6 months the R's have held that lead. As of May 35.6% over 34%. This trend seems to be gaining a foothold and perhaps the R's have finally gotten back to their Conservative roots and the electorate is ready to see those policies applied to control spending and the Dems have been shown for their Big govt. ideology. With more pictures coming forward Rep Anthony Weiner (D) admitted that he has been lying and he sent all those pictures plus x-rated photos that have not been published.
I'm sure the left wing media that bought his hacking story hook line and sinker and accused Andrew Breitbart and evil conservative bloggers will be coming forth with apologies.
I'm kidding of course, they will not apologize.
Mike Tate? Nah, he will not apologize either.
Then again I'm sure the DNC will encourage him to step aside... Just kidding they won't do anything either.
Prediction time, Anthony Weiner will run unopposed and be re-elected. Democrats who lie about these sorts of things never face any real consequences, in fact Democrats reward them for improved name recognition..

Democrat Hypocrisy on Display.
I've stayed away from Weinergate.
Anyone with half of an objective mind knows that the only reason Anthony Weiner has not called for an investigation is he knows what the results will be.
But that's not what I want to point out.
Anthony Weiner (D) New York will be a featured speaker at the Wisconsin Democrat's convention in Milwaukee tonight. Little Mikie Tate is standing behind Weiner's ridiculous claim that he was hacked as if it was fact. This from the unethical chair of the Wisconsin Democrats who makes mountains out of molehills at every opportunity when it serves his purpose.
That the Wisconsin Democrats would welcome with open arms this man at this time speaks volumes to their charachter. In short, they don't have any.
I've been saying it for years, activist democrats have absolutely given up on the concept of ethics. As long as someone is down for the cause absolutely anything is justified.
UPDATE: Weiner has cancelled. This does not change the fact that the Wisconsin Democrats still wanted him to attend their event. I refer to Mr. Brown in the post beneath this one for witty remarks.

In Memory of Pvt. William Andrew "Andy" Long -- Murdered by a Terrorist on US soil June 1, 2009
This Memorial Day weekend I had the joy of visiting my family to celebrate Mom's birthday. We had a reunion of family including all six children, many grandchildren and numerous other relatives totally over 50 people. There was however, one important person missing. Unable to attend the gathering was Private William Andrew " Andy" Long, US Army deceased. Why was Andy not there? Because two years ago today he was murdered by a TERRORIST in a drive by shooting outside the Army recruiting center in Little Rock Arkanssas where he was volunteering while waiting for orders to ship out to Iraq. We honored him and miss him and pray daily for justice to be served.
It has taken more than two years for our justice system to be ready to try this case!! It finally looks like the trial will begin in mid July. Of course that is just a guess, since the defense and the murderer have been able to stall and ask for all sorts of stays etc. during the entire time since the murder.

Pvt. William Andrew “Andy” Long, 23 of Conway, died Monday, June 1, 2009. Andy was born June 26, 1985 in Long Beach, CA to Daris and Janet (Roberson) Long.
Andy recently finished Army training at Ft. Benning, GA, and was on his way to Korea. He attended Sunny Gap Baptist Church in Conway. His family says he had an infectious smile, a great sense of humor, and a brilliant mind. He is a hero.
Andy is survived by his parents, Daris and Janet Long of Conway; sister Vanessa Rice and husband Robert of Conway and brother Triston Long of Ft. Bliss, TX; grandparents James and Virginia Roberson of Conway and Betty Long of Salt Lake City, UT; and numerous other family members.
This brings the sacrifices of our many service men and women right into my living room and I honor and applaud them for their willingness to fight to keep us a free nation.
