The country does need leadership. And I only see one person offering that leadership with any real consistency.

Now they are starting in Wisconsin and then moving on to California.

What are civil rights?
This comes from the WIKI on civil and political rights, I think this is a fair representation.
Civil and political rights are a class of rights that protect individuals' freedom from unwarranted infringement by governments and private organizations, and ensure one's ability to participate in the civil and political life of the state without discrimination or repression.
Civil rights include the ensuring of peoples' physical integrity and safety; protection from discrimination on grounds such as physical or mental disability, gender, religion, race, national origin, age, or sexual orientation; and individual rights such as the freedoms of thought and conscience, speech and expression, religion, the press, and movement.
Political rights include natural justice (procedural fairness) in law, such as the rights of the accused, including the right to a fair trial; due process; the right to seek redress or a legal remedy; and rights of participation in civil society and politics such as freedom of association, the right to assemble, the right to petition, and the right to vote.
Civil and political rights comprise the first portion of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights (with economic, social and cultural rights comprising the second portion). The theory of three generations of human rights considers this group of rights to be "first-generation rights", and the theory of negative and positive rights considers them to be generally negative rights.
Do you know what is not listed there?

From my Pal Sara on Bookface:
Hey mah peeps......does any of you have any sports related goodies that I could snag to send to my soldier's over in Afghanistan? One of the items they mentioned they really would love is anything sports related because it connects them to home. Old Sports Illustrated copies, DVDs, other magazines...anything would help soooo much. Please let me know...I'll be happy to pick up. THANKS A MILLION & a MILLION MORE!!! :)
If you have anything you could donate let me know, I'll pick it up and get it to her.

Hypocrite thy name is Folkbum.
Folkbum is whining that the joint finance committee is hearing testimony from 9am to 6pm today in West Allis.
That's part of his workday you see. Teachers avoided going to work in large numbers to go to Madison to protest but suddenly Jay has a complaint about that.
He is also promoting a late afternoon protest there. Perhaps if he would give up the protest he might have some time to attend the hearing.
I recall the last time the the joint finance committee came to town, it was the same hours, only people like Jay didn't mind when his peeps were in charge.
Jay could attend if he wanted to and he could probably find someone to write him a phony Doctors note.

Selective Outrage
The following Wisconsin counties all had discrepancies between their initial reported vote total and completing their canvas:
Winnebago County
Grant County
Portage County
Door County
Iowa County
Rusk County
Vernon County
Shawano County
Waukesha County
Eau Claire County
Clark County
Brown County
Pepin County
Adams County
La Crosse County
Kenosha County
Sheboygan County
Ozaukee County
Buffalo County
Burnett County
Kewaunee County
Richland County
Trempeleau County
Polk County
Pierce County
Oconto County
Monroe County
Marinette County
Lincoln County
Lafayette County
Juneau County
Calumet County
Chipewa County
Columbia County
Crawford County
Dunn County
Wood County
While the left throws their selective outrage at Waukesha County why don't they care about any of these other counties that also had changes in their vote totals between reported and canvased numbers?
Why isn't Tammy Baldwin calling for a federal investigation into any counties other than Waukesha?
