Letter to Senator Lehman...

I sent the following letter to Senator John Lehman on May 29, 2009.  This was penned after Senator Lehman who servers on the Joint Finance Committee placed upon Wisconsin a horrible budget.  He did not respond.

While Racine struggles with a 17% unemployment rate you and your Democrat partners in the dead of night increased taxes and fees in a regressive way on the people in your district. These increases will hit those struggling to get by especially hard.

You made it more difficult to do business in so many ways.

You increased auto insurance rates on everyone which will mean some people will be forced to operate vehicles without insurance.

You rewarded people who are not in our country legally and joined those who called it a revenue enhancement.

You took fees that were supposed to sunset and diverted them into the general fund.

You raised already high health care costs.

You increased taxes on every cell phone and land phone.

You turned convicts back onto the streets.

You rewarded unions and trial lawyers while you screwed average taxpayers and saddled them with newly created fees and cleverly hidden taxes.

You made school choice harder to operate while you repealed the QEO which will send education spending spiraling upwards out of control.

You eased up on the tracking of sex offenders.

You increased fuel taxes and guaranteed Wisconsin a long expensive court battle.

You built a do not enter sign and placed it at the state border for any business that ever considered doing business here.

In short, you made an already ridiculous tax burden ever worse.

I am beyond outraged Senator.
Somehow Senator John Lehman thinks he should be sent back to Madion to screw us all over again.  Not this time, vote Van Wanggaard.

Is it November yet?

Mr. 3,000?

That's that the best they could do?

Top Gear USA.

Top Gear is coming to the USA on the History Channel.

As a fan of the BBC version of this, I fully expect the Americanized show to be significantly worse than Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond and James May (Captain Slow).

That being said, three gear heads (petrol heads to our UK friends) doing ridiculous stuff with cars within a proper frame of reference (humor) still sounds better than most of the tripe we currently have to choose from.
.
There is already speculation that the American Stig is actually someone whom our beloved TrogloPundit is mildly obsessed with.

By the way, yes that Suzuki SX4 will be the reasonably priced car for stars to beat around whatever track they come up with (poor choice).  Initial celebrity guests will include Tim Allen and Kid Rock.  I'd expect Jay Leno in short order.

They are serious about Top Gear in the UK, check out this clip of Richard Hammond crashing in a jet fueled dragster.

Hopefully the Americanized version of Top Gear will share Clarkson's view of silly vehicles like the Pry-us.

And they call Tea Partiers extreme!

Take a deep breath before watching this, listen carefully!

Fench Riots....

These pictures are all supposedly the result of  French students rioting over moving the retirement age from 60 to 62....

Come on, kids rioting over something that will not effect them for 40 + years?

I think they are rioting over having to drive all those crappy little cars that are apparently quite easy to tip over.

I'm just sayin'

Democrats using government resources to campaign...

Again.

Soros and NPR.

So George Soros sends millions to NPR and they suddently fire Juan Williams?

Connection?

Hello, next Congress, cut 'em off.

Juan Williams fired.

So much for tolerance at NPR.

Hey, NPR, what about Ifil?

On a side note, if you would like to see some actual racism and hatred, check out the comment thread at Think Progress on this.

Democrats Cheating at Elections....

Well they go together like chocolate and peanut butter.

Cops and Firefighters in Milwaukee have their say about Tom Barrett

Vote fraud?

A former ACORN employee tells the truth about the left's activities to steal the vote.

Our Rights Come from Where?

Here's a portion of the Emperor's speech on Monday 10/18/10 to the DSCC (Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee)

“As wonderful as this land is here in the United States, as much as we have been blessed by the bounty of this magnificent continent that stretches from the Atlantic to the Pacific, what makes this place special is not something physical. It has to do with this idea that was started by 13 colonies that decided to throw off the yoke of an empire and said, ‘We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that each of us are endowed with certain inalienable rights, that among these are life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness,’” Obama said in Monday’s speech. [Emphasis added.]

Anyone notice the revision he made to the original text of the Declaration of Independence?

Yup -- you got it -- the text of the original is: "... endowed by their creator with certain inalienable rights ".

A slip of the tongue? I think not, how about a reflection of his true belief about the government being the endower of inalienable rights. Isn't it interesting how a the Emperor's true beliefs come out when speaking before a sympathetic crowd. Just like Princess Nancy's comments to the union crowd about redistributing wealth to be more "fair" in our economy a few days ago.

Seriously, tho...

Explain it to me, lefties: Jerry Brown??

Jerry Brown??!!??
This is your future/your hopes/your dreams??
Explain it to me, please!!

Latinos 4 Reform has a message.

I'm sorry...

Where does Meghan McCain get to call anyone a nutjob?

Mirror?

Attention Future Governor...

It is worse than you thought.

RUSD Idiocy.

Seeing as the Racine Unified School District is one of the best performing districts in the nation they had time to dabble into immigration politics.

In a useless endorsement the Racine Unified School Board has wasted time and resources to endorse the DREAM Act.

If you have the time I'd encourage you to go to the homepage of The Journal Times and vote in their poll on the subject.

Kathy's Obituary.

The Kenosha News has Kathy Carpenter's obituary up this morning.  Though 'Ol Broad tells me they got her birthday wrong, it was Nov.5, not Nov. 11.

Services will be held Wednesday morning at Grace Church, 3626 Hwy 31, Racine, WI.  Visitation is from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m., services at 10 a.m.

WEAC is push polling for Lehman.

WEAC just push polled us trying to say wonderful things about John Lehman while trying to trash VanWanggaard.  WEAC is also paying for pro Lehman TV ads.

John Lehman serves as the chair of the education committee.  Think he is biased?  The Teachers Union is trying to re-elect their pet Senator.

There was a big railroad rally on Saturday.

Massive Fail.

October 17, 2010

I'm afraid I have some bad news.

My friend KathyCarpenter passed away today.

Kathy was the former Chair of the Kenosha Coumty GOP, a former Kenosha Alderwoman, attended my church, was a fellow blogger and a good friend.

She will be missed.

The law should not pertain to us...

Yeah, we voted illegally, and we knew it, but but but we're black so we should get away with it.
