RDW Review: Milk & Honey Cafe

There is a new eatery on Racine's north side, The Milk and Honey Cafe. It is located at 3751 Douglas Ave., across the street from Kortendick's hardware store.

The hours are a bit different, Milk and Honey Cafe is open Tuesday through Sunday for breakfast and lunch from 6 a.m. to 3 p.m. They are currently only open for dinner on Friday evenings.

Mrs RDW and I have dined there 3 times for Friday dinners, the evening menu features the best fish fry you ever had (A half portion for $5.99 a full portion for $7.99) plus walleye, perch, gulf shrimp plus a fish and a non fish special. Mrs. RDW says to make sure and try the sweet potato fries.

I've also had a business lunch there. Their lunch menu features burgers, authentic Cuban sandwiches, salads, and some different items like a grilled mahi sandwich that the person I had lunch with absolutely raved about.

We have not had breakfast there but have looked at the menu, there were truly some intriguing selections.

The staff is exceedingly friendly and the food is superb. Everything is made fresh to order and the chef, Troy Vilalpando, endeavors to use fresh in season local ingredients wherever possible.

Word seems to be spreading, with each visit we make they seem to be a bit busier. If I had a rating system in place I'd give them the highest rating possible.

If great food, served by great people, for very fair prices sounds appetizing to you pay a visit to the Milk and Honey Cafe. If you don't want to take my word for it, check out what people at Urban Spoon are saying about it.

Why is this not a featured dessert at the Wisconsin State Fair?????

H/T Charles Phoenix.

Feingold's act of fiction.

Senator Russ Feingold has an add out touting his jobs record. It appears that the Wisconsin Senator could not find any actual people that got jobs through the porkulus bill so he made one up.

$787 billion bucks and Russ Feingold had to make up a person to put on a nameplate in his ad?

Charlie has the video and more details. The Washington Examiner is calling it Jobs for the dead.

Is there really any doubt as to why the Wisconsin Senate race has gone from a lock for Feingold to a toss up?

Is it November yet?

By the way Senator, a baby blue shirt with a brown tie? Maybe you should make up a fashion consultant.

Culture of Corruption

Another corrupt left winger buying influence.

Guess who is shipping jobs to Mexico?

Paging Senator Feingold, paging Senator Feingold.
Remember this the next time you hear some leftist clown talking about American jobs moving out of our country. (No offense Kranky de Clown)

not often couple with each other, but the two people that I turn to most to basically deliver a simple point which is you’re going to make choices, you’re going to challenge, you’re going to say why not."

I'm getting tired of asking this, but: Where the h#!! am I??!?
Am I missing something?
Is a guy that killed 70 million of his countrymen now considered a great thinker??!?
Mental note: it takes 40 years to rewrite the history of 70 million deaths, but it only takes one vote to get your country back.
