yeah, see.... last i checked i never really needed validation from anyone on what i liked or didint like. i DO, however, find it quite comical when people need to waste their time and energy to tell you - ad nauseum - how much they dislike something. so you dont care about soccer? again, soccer doesnt care bout you. move the $&@ on. but hey, if you feel that strongly about it, tell us again in 30 minutes how much you dislike it. then ask for some hugs. sounds like you probably need them.
Let me say I'm not into any sports AT ALL and don't even watch the Superbowl, but I guess I don't understand why people wouldn't care how the USA does in the World Cup? There are many countries who would like nothing better than to beat the USA and we have a team who is doing their best to represent us - so we should care enough to care about the results, shouldn't we?
It's probably a good thing too that I don't care about sports - because things I KEEP hearing from the Engllish are comments like this: (I'm not saying I agree with them - it kind of irritates me) Baseball and basketball are girls games for girly men. Americans are arrogant to call it the "World Series" when the rest of the world is not included. American men can't handle playing soccer because they don't get to use all the padding like in American football. They figure we don't like to watch soccer because we suck at it and don't want to see ourselves beaten.
But...the English were sure they were going to beat us and it ended up a draw. Of course they have all sorts of excuses why LOL. But as someone put it to me, "the English not being able to beat the USA would be like the Green Bay Packers getting beat by a high school team".

Gee how's the US do? Ooooo a tie, I'm so excited.
for the US, you should be. its the group stage, dingbat.
win=3
loss=0
tie=1
the top 2 aggregates moves on to the elimination stage.
need a hug?
It's still soccer, not NFL Football.
ah, yea American football. a game named for the 3 people actually allowed to put their feet on the ball.
Your whining explains your lack of expertise in Fantasy Football.
just as much as you fantasy baseball, donkey.
let me guess: its not your league, so you dont care, right?
typical loser talk.
Draft Son, draft. If I don't get to draft...
um...yeah, i didnt either.
and yet....
I'm enjoying watching the World Cup now that I actually know something of the game and I am almost to the point that I can tune out the horns.... lol

17 million people watched the England-USA game in the US. That is more than the NBA finals.
Are the NBA Finals on?
