Looks might Capper might be in trouble.

Update: Folkbum claims there is nothing to it.

I'm sure it was just a simple missunderstanding and an "oversight" - after all Milwaukee Libs are not really expected to follow the rules are they?

I do know, or least he  says he has, a device that can automatically send out posts from your computer at any given time.  Maybe he said it when he found out he was under investigation. We also don't when his breaks are. I am also sure he is not the only County to do this.
Having said that, if he is doing this on County time, then he should be reprimanded.  Remember the story about people living glass houses.
If true, Walker is probably having a very good day.

Well, Dan, the four posts cited by CRG as having been written on work time were written either on a furlough day or on a vacation day.  It doesn't even come down to "breaks" or fancy "devices." He just wasn't at work those days.

The thing you must consider is how many times he perhaps commented to JSOnline under the handle "Liebs" during work hours.

Well, Jay, that doesn't explain why they took his computer.  I am sure the DA didn't just look at CRG's complaint and fall for it hook line and sinker.  I am sure they checked out those dates before going further.  So, why did they take the computer?  They would have been able to find most information on the County's server and my guess they have been monitoring the server he works on very closely to make sure he is not blogging on County time.  That part is the most troubling.
I would hope that capper would not be so stupid as to blog on county time because of his hatered of Walker, they are looking for little thing to get him.

Time will tell.  The man hasn't been convicted of anything.

Day off maybe, but was he using a county computer?

Do you go into work to use the computers on your days off?
