Peace loving poop dumping environmentalists.

Their target, Jeremy Clarkson.

Climate change protesters have dumped a pile of horse manure at the home of Top Gear presenter Jeremy Clarkson in a protest about vehicle emissions.

Six women stood by the dung in the drive of his home in Chipping Norton, Oxfordshire, with a sign that read: "This is what you're landing us in."

The protesters from direct action group Climate Rush said they were being as "blasé as him" about emissions.

Clarkson made no comment and Thames Valley Police said no-one was arrested.

A shame, all six of them should have been arrested.

Blog notes...

I haven't mentioned it yet but the Wigderson Library and Pub has reopened since their summer remodeling project is complete.

Mr. Wigderson has chimed in on the Kelly Gallaher economic thuggery story.

Additionally, I became aware of a new blog out of Caledonia this week. Check out Wee Weed Up. The Janitor cracks me up.

Guess the number game

650,000

UPDATE: $650,000. The amount of money Ways and Means Chairman Charlie Rangel failed to report as income.

Whoops, I forgot about that $650,000 I had.

If you are interested, Americans for Limited Government is pushing a petition to bring Charlie Rangel to justice. (As if the Obama Department of Justice cared about bringing (D)s to justice)

All you need know about the ethics of Congressional Leadership is to see that they have no issue with this corrupt individual being the Chair of such an influential committee. Is there no end to the culture of corruption in the Democratic party?

Here is the ALG Petition:

To the Attorney General of the United States, Eric Holder

Whereas Congressman Charles Rangel failed to report over $1 million in outside income and $3 million in business transactions as required by the House, and

Whereas Mr. Rangel only disclosed in August at least $650,000 in assets he had previously failed to list on his House financial disclosure forms, and

Whereas Mr. Rangel has failed to disclose to the IRS or on his financial disclosure forms $75,000 in rental income for a beach villa in the Dominican Republic, and

Whereas Mr. Rangel broke state laws by claiming three primary residences and broke municipal laws by maintaining four rent-controlled apartments, and

Whereas Mr. Rangel violated House rules by using congressional letterhead to solicit donations for an education center bearing his name at City College of New York, and

Whereas Mr. Rangel is delinquent in paying his property taxes on two New Jersey parcels and failed to report the sale of a $1.3 million brownstone, and

Whereas Mr. Rangel is the subject of an active investigation by the House Ethics Committee,

Now therefore, we the undersigned citizens of the United States do hereby call on U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder to take the following immediate actions:

1. Undertake an immediate investigation of Mr. Rangel's repeated violation of public disclosure laws.

2. Undertake an immediate investigation of exactly how Mr. Rangel came into at least $650,000 in undisclosed income, and to audit the extent of his income.

3. And if necessary prosecute Mr. Rangel to the fullest extent of the law for any and all infractions of the law.

Amnestycare

So, now Barack Obama clarifies his position on health care.

First the health care bill did not cover illegal persons but it offered no check or balance to see that persons who had benefits were actually legal citizens.

Now he says we'll take illegals and make them legal and then insure them.

Thanks for clearing that up for us.

Senator Leibham Fights Phone Tax Deception

I posted this today, and thought the topic was timely. Not to mention doing a little shameless promotion of my blog, and of my fearless 9th district senator. Who needs Joe Wurzelbacher or Joe Wilson when you've got Joe Leibham?

No need to guess the number.

10 softball pieces mentioning Kelly Gallaher by name and highlighting her activism for President Obama's agenda on the Racine Left Post. (Including an Op-Ed bashing Congressman Ryan)

Yet with their fascination with Kelly Gallaher they have failed to mention her attempted economic thuggery over everyday ordinary citizens daring to have a private gathering in a public place.
You would think a community oriented web-site would want to pick up on a story about someone they have shown such an obvious interest in.

September 16, 2009

Thug Politics, Kelly Gallaher is at it again.

Libertea Racine has a very interesting post up relating an attempted case of economic thuggery in Racine.

A group of like minded individuals formed after the Racine TEA party. Those people have been meeting at a local Racine franchise restaurant. They meat, push a few tables together and discuss whatever is on their minds.

This is not a public meeting, there is no overt presentation, etc., just some people getting together.

Well, apparently a copy of an upcoming meeting notice wound up in the hands of Kelly Gallaher. You may recall her as the individual working with Obama's Organizing for America group that was trying to get pro-Obama individuals to attend Paul Ryan listening sessions. Gallaher working to organize and rally the left did all sorts of complaining about how she was treated after she thrust herself upon the scene as a political figure by leading that movement.

Well, now Kelly Gallaher has taken it upon herself to go this restaurant where average Americans were gathering peacefully to discuss the issues of the day and threaten the management of that business with a boycott over this group meeting there.

This is what the left has come down to my friends, threatening a boycott of a local restaurant because a few people who may not agree pushed a couple of tables together and shared thoughts and ideas.

For someone who complained about threats against her, she certainly has some funny ideas regarding free speech in this community.

In Gallaher's America I guess business owners are supposed to check to make sure their cusomter's views agree with Dear Leader before letting them in the door.

A picture tells.

So much for Obama's speech to the kids.

They didn't listen.

Something Smells Around Here...

So when you think of someone who might be a pedophile, don't you automatically conjur up a face like this? I mean, I know we're not supposed to think we know what a pedophile or rapist or murderer might look like---they say to suspect everyone, and not fall victim to the Ted Bundy syndrome.....but really. Could the Journal Times have taken a worse photo of Racine's former Mayor Gary Becker? I don't think so.

No Parade For The Shoe Thrower?

Well, the Shoe Thrower has been liberated. You remember this guy, don't you? Now he's claiming he suffered some intense treatment at the hands of the Iraqi government during his detainment. Note: it was not at the hands of any American military forces, or CIA operatives....

Funny how the international media has to make sure that his fears of "American Intelligence agents following him around" needed to make it into this article....an attempt to connect the alleged actions against him with our own country. Remember: it's important for them to keep us as The Great Satan in order for the insurgents' propaganda to continue its spread.

Interestingly, the Shoe Thrower had this quote to throw along with his shoe at our president: "This is your farewell kiss, you dog!" he shouted at Bush in Arabic as he hurled the shoes. "This is from the widows, the orphans and those who were killed in Iraq," he continued.

Just a minute here.....no outrage at Saddam Hussein for the widows, orphans and those who were killed in Iraq upon his orders? I guess raping women in the streets and denying girls an education, forbidding women from owning a business or having a job was all a-o'k with this guy?

See, further introspective thought is required when you read an AP article....especially when there are editorial descriptive thoughts thrown in like this one: "Al-Zeidi's protest stirred millions across the Arab world who have been captivated and angered by images of destruction and grieving since the U.S.-led invasion of Iraq in 2003." You gotta love how they're supposedly not angered or grieving during such a brutal regime as Saddam's. Of course, words like "invasion" conjur up some pretty disturbing imagery. It's icing on the cake.

Lastly, I love the line at the end of the article: "The family says al-Zeidi might use his celebrity status to promote humanitarian causes such as the rights of orphans and women."

Yeah, right.....because he cared about them so much during Saddam's reign.

Stunning Next Step In Acorn Secret Tape

You may or may not have caught onto one of the ACORN stories going around.

Some hidden camera type under cover operatives went to ACORN posing as running a prostitution ring and got tax advice from ACORN. You can see the video at Badger Blogger.

Now the person who made this video, James O'Keefe, may be facing charges that could put him in prison for up to five years. The Baltimore City State's Attorney could file charges that he filmed people without their permission, a felony which could lead to a five-year sentence.

Details here.

No Duh!

So it's not the most intellectual headline you've ever seen....but really--what other conclusion is there anymore? People scale back spending when their incomes decline or are uncertain. Why can't Government do the same?

In this small, but significant blurb in the LaCrosse Trib, you may find some prophecy. (Or just look at the pattern of how our own Department of Revenue handled a shortfall in sales tax rev's in the early 80's for some foreshadowing.)

Get ready, Wisconsin. The case for a sales tax increase is coming our way.
