Joe Biden's racist slip

My favorite Biden moment.

Democrats have an unending ability to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory.

Sen. Biden Has a Much Higher IQ Than You!

Remember this?

No wonder Obama loves this guy, he thinks he is better than everyone else.

Who knew?

Hope and change is apparently an old white guy.

Weekly Bad Teacher Recap.

As we get back into school the time comes to bring back the Bad Teacher recap.

Ting-Yi Oei, 59, an assistant principal at Freedom High School in South Riding, Virginia has been indicted by a Loudoun County grand jury and charged with possession of child pornography. The Silsbee Bee reports that Letsinger was indicted by the Hardin County Grand Jury after investigators turned in their reports regarding two incidences that are said to have occurred in 2006. He turned himself in on July 15 and was held in the Hardin County jail until he posted four separate bonds of $2.500 on each count.

Werner Bloch, 41, a former teacher, dormitory supervisor and tennis coach at Admiral Farragut Academy in St. Petersburg, Florida was sentenced this morning to six years in federal prison, the result of his guilty plea in March to one count of receipt of child pornography.

Asar Long, 32, a former teacher’s aide at KidsPeace in Salisbury Township. Pennsylvania has been charged with three counts of unlawful contact with a minor. It is alleged that Long used his cell phone to show three female students a photo of his penis. It is further alleged that he also showed one of the girls a video of him committing a sex act on himself.

Joseph Tracy Garner, 42, a social studies teacher at Ontario High School in Ontario, Oregon has been arrested and charged with seven counts of online sexual corruption of a child in the second degree. Garner’s arrest came after a three month investigation which began when a private group conducting an Internet sting operation notified authorities that a person had used MySpace to contact and initiate explicit and, at times, graphic conversations of a sexual nature with a purported 13-year-old Oregon girl who was in reality a trained adult decoy.

1st CD Democratic Primary.

'Ole Doc Thomas is sitting this one out.

Three area Democrats will be fighting it out to become the sacrificial lamb to Paul Ryan in November.

My question is which one would be the most fun in the general election?

Mike Hebert. Mike's entire campaign rests on posting scads of ugly blue painted signs with white stencil lettering all over the district. Essentially they have his name and the word Democrat. Mike is the union guy, the union paints his signs and puts them out. His entire platform seems to be, "ME UNION GUY".

I took Mike lightly in the last election thinking he would get slaughtered behind a good candidate in Steve Herr and Doc Thomas. Amazingly Hebert came in a very strong second. I'd point you to his website be he doesn't seem to think having one is all that important.

Hebert is a joke, but you can never underestimate the ability of union lemmings to do exactly what they are told. Hebert could very easily win the primary.

That brings us to the ladies, Paulette Garin and Marge Krupp. Paulette and Marge could be policy twins, their whole shtick boils down to Bush sucks and Ryan votes with Bush too much. Beyond that they go straight into the whole class warfare crap and the absolute furthest left positions they can find on every issue.

None of these three candidates has ever held an elected office.

As to the difference between Krupp and Garin, I can tell you media and the more radical lefties in the area are supporting Krupp so if you would like to vote against them Garin is your choice.

The unions will blindly follow their guy but of course they have the larger collective voice. That will have power in a very low turnout primary if the union can turn out their vote.

When I go vote in the primary on September the 9th I'll be voting for Paulette Garin, mostly because I think if enough of us vote for her we can screw with their primary.

Somehow I doubt she'll be listing my endorsement on her website!

***BREAKING NEWS***

The messiah's brother unearthed.

I say "unearthed" because -- I'm just sayin' -- don't you have to try to get to Huruma?

One Obama likes to quote this line from the Bible:
"...how you treat the least of these my brothers, so you do unto me."

Another Obama says this:
"I live here on less than a dollar a month. I live like a recluse, no-one knows I exist."

Can you guess which said what?

(PS --I guess it doesn't really matter. He's an AC Milan fan, anyway. Yuck.)

The REAL VP Nominee

Apparently my sources were wrong, because I just got news about the real VP candidate for the democrats. Let's just say he's someone we know very, very well...

That's not going to fit the template.

I thought this was already over and McCain had lost? I'm so confused.

McCain takes lead over Obama: poll

By John Whitesides,
Political Correspondent 1 hour, 43 minutes ago

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - In a sharp turnaround, Republican John McCain has opened a 5-point lead on Democrat Barack Obama in the U.S. presidential race and is seen as a stronger manager of the economy, according to a Reuters/Zogby poll released on Wednesday.

McCain leads Obama among likely U.S. voters by 46 percent to 41 percent, wiping out Obama's solid 7-point advantage in July and taking his first lead in the monthly Reuters/Zogby poll.

The reversal follows a month of attacks by McCain, who has questioned Obama's experience, criticized his opposition to most new offshore oil drilling and mocked his overseas trip.

Gee you can see where this guy is coming from. Did he ever consider that people were figuring out that Obama is a political neophyte empty suit who gives a great prepared speech but is not ready to lead?

The poll was taken Thursday through Saturday as Obama wrapped up a weeklong vacation in Hawaii that ceded the political spotlight to McCain, who seized on Russia's invasion of Georgia to emphasize his foreign policy views.

You must be kidding me? A weeklong vacation that took attention off Obama? And all those body surfing pictures were what?

"There is no doubt the campaign to discredit Obama is paying off for McCain right now," pollster John Zogby said. "This is a significant ebb for Obama."

Tell the truth = discredit? Nice one John.

McCain now has a 9-point edge, 49 percent to 40 percent, over Obama on the critical question of who would be the best manager of the economy -- an issue nearly half of voters said was their top concern in the November 4 presidential election.

That margin reversed Obama's 4-point edge last month on the economy over McCain, an Arizona senator and former Vietnam prisoner of war who has admitted a lack of economic expertise and shows far greater interest in foreign and military policy.

McCain has been on the offensive against Obama during the last month over energy concerns, with polls showing strong majorities supporting his call for an expansion of offshore oil drilling as gasoline prices hover near $4 a gallon.

Gee, who has been saying that energy policy would be the #1 issue?

Obama had opposed new offshore drilling, but said recently he would support a limited expansion as part of a comprehensive energy program.

Flip, flop.

That was one of several recent policy shifts for Obama, as he positions himself for the general election battle. But Zogby said the changes could be taking a toll on Obama's support, particularly among Democrats and self-described liberals.

Moving right is ticking off the left, who could have seen that coming?

"That hairline difference between nuance and what appears to be flip-flopping is hurting him with liberal voters," Zogby said.

Obama's support among Democrats fell 9 percentage points this month to 74 percent, while McCain has the backing of 81 percent of Republicans. Support for Obama, an Illinois senator, fell 12 percentage points among liberals, with 10 percent of liberals still undecided compared to 9 percent of conservatives.

"Conservatives were supposed to be the bigger problem for McCain," Zogby said. "Obama still has work to do on his base. At this point McCain seems to be doing a better job with his."

The dip in support for Obama, who would be the first black U.S. president, cut across demographic and ideological lines. He slipped among Catholics, born-again Christians, women, independents and younger voters. He retained the support of more than 90 percent of black voters.

Geraldine Ferraro was right.

"There were no wild swings, there isn't one group that is radically different than last month or even two months ago. It was just a steady decline for Obama across the board," Zogby said.
Obama's support among voters between the ages of 18 and 29, which had been one of his strengths, slipped 12 percentage points to 52 percent. McCain, who will turn 72 next week, was winning 40 percent of younger voters.

12 point drop in the MTV crowd? But but but but, the youth, the energy, what about the change?

"Those are not the numbers Obama needs to win," Zogby said about Americans under 30. The 47-year-old is counting on a strong turnout among young voters, a key bloc of support during his primary battle with New York Sen. Hillary Clinton.

It made little difference when independent candidate Ralph Nader and Libertarian Party candidate Bob Barr, who are both trying to add their names to state ballots.

McCain still held a 5-point edge over Obama, 44 percent to 39 percent, when all four names were included. Barr earned 3 percent and Nader 2 percent.

Most national polls have given Obama a narrow lead over McCain throughout the summer. In the Reuters/Zogby poll, Obama had a 5-point lead in June, shortly after he clinched the Democratic nomination, and an 8-point lead on McCain in May.

Narrow lead? Not from the media I've seen. They all have him elected already. Nah, there is no such thing as media bais. But serious how is a McCain lead a good thing for Obama, we need these seering questions answered. i wonder what George Clooney thinks?

The telephone poll of 1,089 likely voters had a margin of error of 3 percentage points.

JS Online on the bus strike.

A bus strike in Racine left riders stranded without notice this morning. Curtis Garner, executive director of the company that manages the bus system, said he was just as surprised.

Garner said he learned the strike started when he got a call from the head of the city's transit service for disabled riders. Nine kidney dialysis patients missed appointments, according to the company that manages the city's bus service.

Managers with the bus system are scrambling to take disabled patients to other appointments.

Drivers have been picketing bus stations since this morning.Drivers have been working without a contract since July 1. The 93 members of the local Teamsters union are in a dispute over proposed changes by management in insurance coverage for retirees and the transfer of three dispatchers from union to non-union positions.

(Since July 1???? Oh the horror, 6 whole weeks without a contract!!!!)

The management company, Professional Transit Management of Racine, also wants to run the payroll for the bus service with non-union employees who do payroll for other city services.

Bus system managers expect a $500,000 budget deficit this year because of the rising cost of diesel fuel, Garner said. The changes would save Racine about $310,000 per year, he said.

Officials with the two sides haven't spoken since Tuesday, Garner said.

"I'm hoping that the union realizes we don't have the revenue to get them the offer they think they want," he said. "We all need to tighten our belts and get through these tough times."

Garner said the bus system has no plans to hire replacement drivers.

This is their first mistake, FIRE THEM ALL IMMEDIATELY.

Or Cal Ripken?
Or Babe Ruth?
Or Jesse Owens?
Or Jim Thorpe for that matter?

Don't get me wrong, it’s a great achievement by – from all accounts – a nice guy. What he did was truly a feat for the ages. Great for him, I’m very happy for him.
But in this sound-byte world, lets try to not trip over ourselves bestowing an all-together ridiculous title to the flavor of the day.

After all, who among you would call Aquaman the greatest hero in the universe?

Troubling.

FYI, the weekly bad teacher segment will return this weekend.

GALT (CBS13) Sacramento ― A worried mother says her daughter has been texting and talking to her high school teacher after hours, and despite her protests, her daughter was still in classes with that teacher.

The mother, who did not wish to be identified, was trying to find out why her 15-year-old daughter was behaving strangely when she discovered a troubling text message on her daughter's phone."

It happened around 9:35 at night," she said. "It said, 'I don't want her to find out, I don't want her to get hurt. I need to meet with you.'"She immediately took her daughter's cell phone away and checked her call records. The mother showed us phone bills from the last six months of the school year, revealing text messages and phone calls to and from what appears to be the teacher's cell phone number.

"He called her at midnight," she said, pointing to one record. "They were on the phone for 30 minutes."She called and wrote the school to complain last June, and the district responded with a letter that acknowledged that the teacher did "communicate with your daughter at times of the day and night that was concluded to be unprofessional.

"The superintendent also apologized for the "lack of professional behavior," and assured the mother that a letter will go in the teacher's file, and further inappropriate behavior could lead to disciplinary action.

"It's not enough," the mother said. "He should be punished in a different way. He's an adult, and he's a teacher."Her daughter is in his class at Galt High School this school year, and she still refuses to explain to her mother why she was communicating with him after hours.

We tried contacting the teacher after school Wednesday, but he has not responded to our messages. The school district says they cannot comment to us on personnel matters, but after we made our calls, the mother says they've taken some action, possibly to remove the girl from that classroom.

The teacher should have been fired. If this was not a union teacher would they have been fired?

Hypocrisy anyone?

Mr. King of the local hate left, Capper, is at it again.

This time he is showing off his hypocrisy.

In a post where Capper pointed out McCain's supposed prejudiced action in not supporting gay marriage he excuses Barack (Censored) Obama's similar view by saying no one is perfect.

So one guy is prejudiced the other guy is flawed but better?

I'm not really trying to pick on Capper here, he can't help himself and he is really not worth the effort.

Ho does provide an illustrative example of the activist left though. It is amazing how today's activist liberals can attack their enemies and completely ignore the exact same behavior by their allies.

How did the gay marriage amendment fail in Wisconsin in 2006? Because Democrats voted it down, Democrats voted against it. You would not know that from liberals response every time this issue comes up though would you?

China takes away Bibles from visiting Americans.

By GILLIAN WONG, Associated Press Writer Sun Aug 17, 10:17 AM ET

BEIJING - Chinese customs officials confiscated more than 300 Bibles on Sunday from four American Christians who arrived in a southwestern city with plans to distribute them, the group's leader said.

The Bibles were taken from the group's checked luggage after they landed at the airport in the city of Kunming, said Pat Klein, head of Vision Beyond Borders. The group, based in Sheridan, Wyoming, distributes Bibles and Christian teaching materials around the world to "strengthen the persecuted church," according to its Web site.

The group arrived in China on Sunday and had intended to distribute the Bibles to people in the city, Klein told the AP in a telephone interview while still at the airport.

"I heard that there's freedom of religion in China, so why is there a problem for us to bring Bibles?" Klein said. "We had over 300 copies and customs took all of them from us."

You stay classy China!

Is it 'cool' to be patriotic?

Missing History.

This is just out from the National Black Republican Association. (Hey Mathias, pay attention to where actual racism has been practiced)

The Democrats' Missing History
By JEFFREY LORD August 13, 2008

As Democrats prepare to nominate Sen. Barack Obama to be the first black president, the Democratic National Committee and its chairman, Howard Dean, have whitewashed the party's horrific and lengthy record of racism. The omission is in the section of the DNC Web site that describes the party's history. The missing history raises the obvious question of whether the Democrats, unable or simply unwilling to put their party on record as taking direct responsibility for one of the worst racial crimes of the ages, will be able to run a campaign free of the racial animosities it has regularly brought both to American presidential campaigns and American political and social life in general.

What else to make of the official party history as presented by the DNC on its Web site? It is a history so sanitized of historical reality it makes Stalin look like David McCullough.

The DNC Web site section labeled "Party History," linked here, is in fact scrubbed clean of the not-so-little dirty secret that fueled Democrats' political successes for over a century and a half and made American life a hell on earth for black Americans. Literally, the DNC official history, which begins with the creation of the party in 1800, gets to the creation of the DNC itself in 1848 and then--poof!--the next sentence says: "As the 19th Century came to a close, the American electorate changed more and more rapidly." It quickly heads into a riff on poor immigrants coming to America.

In a stroke, 52 years of Democratic history vanishes. Disappeared faster than the truth in the Clinton administration. Why would this be? Allow me to sketch in a few facts from those missing 52 years. For that matter, lets add in the facts from the party history before and after those 52 years, since they aren't mentioned by the Democrats' National Committee either.

* * *

So what's missing?

• There is no reference to the number of Democratic Party platforms supporting slavery. There were six from 1840 through 1860.

• There is no reference to the number of Democratic presidents who owned slaves. There were seven from 1800 through 1861

• There is no reference to the number of Democratic Party platforms that either supported segregation outright or were silent on the subject. There were 20, from 1868 through 1948.

• There is no reference to "Jim Crow" as in "Jim Crow laws," nor is there reference to the role Democrats played in creating them. These were the post-Civil War laws passed enthusiastically by Democrats in that pesky 52-year part of the DNC's missing years. These laws segregated public schools, public transportation, restaurants, rest rooms and public places in general (everything from water coolers to beaches). The reason Rosa Parks became famous is that she sat in the "whites only" front section of a bus, the "whites only" designation the direct result of Democrats.

• There is no reference to the formation of the Ku Klux Klan, which, according to Columbia University historian Eric Foner, became "a military force serving the interests of the Democratic Party." Nor is there reference to University of North Carolina historian Allen Trelease's description of the Klan as the "terrorist arm of the Democratic Party."

• There is no reference to the fact Democrats opposed the 13th, 14th and 15th amendments to the Constitution. The 13th banned slavery. The 14th effectively overturned the infamous 1857 Dred Scott decision (made by Democratic pro-slavery Supreme Court justices) by guaranteeing due process and equal protection to former slaves. The 15th gave black Americans the right to vote.

• There is no reference to the fact that Democrats opposed the Civil Rights Act of 1866. It was passed by the Republican Congress over the veto of President Andrew Johnson, who had been a Democrat before joining Lincoln's ticket in 1864. The law was designed to provide blacks with the right to own private property, sign contracts, sue and serve as witnesses in a legal proceeding.

• There is no reference to the Democrats' opposition to the Civil Rights Act of 1875. It was passed by a Republican Congress and signed into law by President Ulysses Grant. The law prohibited racial discrimination in public places and public accommodations.

• There is no reference to the Democrats' 1904 platform, which devotes a section to "Sectional and Racial Agitation," claiming the GOP's protests against segregation and the denial of voting rights to blacks sought to "revive the dead and hateful race and sectional animosities in any part of our common country," which in turn "means confusion, distraction of business, and the reopening of wounds now happily healed."

• There is no reference to four Democratic platforms, 1908-20, that are silent on blacks, segregation, lynching and voting rights as racial problems in the country mount. By contrast the GOP platforms of those years specifically address "Rights of the Negro" (1908), oppose lynching (in 1912, 1920, 1924, 1928) and, as the New Deal kicks in, speak out about the dangers of making blacks "wards of the state."

• There is no reference to the Democratic Convention of 1924, known to history as the "Klanbake." The 103-ballot convention was held in Madison Square Garden. Hundreds of delegates were members of the Ku Klux Klan, the Klan so powerful that a plank condemning Klan violence was defeated outright. To celebrate, the Klan staged a rally with 10,000 hooded Klansmen in a field in New Jersey directly across the Hudson from the site of the convention. Attended by hundreds of cheering convention delegates, the rally featured burning crosses and calls for violence against African-Americans and Catholics.

• There is no reference to the fact that it was Democrats who segregated the federal government, at the direction of President Woodrow Wilson upon taking office in 1913. There is a reference to the fact that President Harry Truman integrated the military after World War II.

• There is reference to the fact that Democrats created the Federal Reserve Board, passed labor and child welfare laws, and created Social Security with Wilson's New Freedom and FDR's New Deal. There is no mention that these programs were created as the result of an agreement to ignore segregation and the lynching of blacks. Neither is there a reference to the thousands of local officials, state legislators, state governors, U.S. congressmen and U.S. senators who were elected as supporters of slavery and then segregation between 1800 and 1965. Nor is there reference to the deal with the devil that left segregation and lynching as a way of life in return for election support for three post-Civil War Democratic presidents, Grover Cleveland, Woodrow Wilson and Franklin Roosevelt.

• There is no reference that three-fourths of the opposition to the 1964 Civil Rights Bill in the U.S. House came from Democrats, or that 80% of the "nay" vote in the Senate came from Democrats. Certainly there is no reference to the fact that the opposition included future Democratic Senate leader Robert Byrd of West Virginia (a former Klan member) and Tennessee Senator Albert Gore Sr., father of Vice President Al Gore.

• Last but certainly not least, there is no reference to the fact that Birmingham, Ala., Public Safety Commissioner Bull Connor, who infamously unleashed dogs and fire hoses on civil rights protestors, was in fact--yes indeed--a member of both the Democratic National Committee and the Ku Klux Klan.

Reading the DNC's official "Party History" of the Democrats and the race issue and civil rights is not unlike reading "In Through the Looking Glass": " 'When I use a word,' Humpty Dumpty said, in rather a scornful tone, 'it means just what I choose it to mean--neither more nor less.' "

Here's this line from the DNC: "With the election of Harry Truman, Democrats began the fight to bring down the final barriers of race . . ." Truman, of course, was elected in 1948, and to his great credit he did in fact, along with then-Minneapolis Mayor Hubert Humphrey, begin to push the Democrats towards a pro-civil-rights stance. This culminated in the passage of the 1960s civil rights laws--legislation that redid what had been done by Republicans a hundred years earlier but undone by the Democrats' support for segregation. But the notion that "Democrats began to bring down the final barriers of race" raises the obvious questions. What were these barriers doing there in the first place? And who exactly was responsible for creating them?

AS IF TO CONFIRM the "Who, me?" racial psychology behind the DNC Web site, Nancy Pelosi's Democrats passed a House resolution on July 29 sponsored by Tennessee Democrat Steve Cohen. The resolution, passed by voice vote, concludes this way:
Resolved, That the House of Representatives--

(1) acknowledges that slavery is incompatible with the basic founding principles recognized in the Declaration of Independence that all men are created equal;

(2) acknowledges the fundamental injustice, cruelty, brutality, and inhumanity of slavery and Jim Crow;

(3) apologizes to African Americans on behalf of the people of the United States, for the wrongs committed against them and their ancestors who suffered under slavery and Jim Crow; and

(4) expresses its commitment to rectify the lingering consequences of the misdeeds committed against African Americans under slavery and Jim Crow and to stop the occurrence of human rights violations in the future.

What word is missing here?

You got it. The word "Democrat." Never mentioned anywhere. As with the DNC website, all these terrible things--somehow, apparently, it seems, so they keep hearing--happened. Ms. Pelosi, Mr. Cohen and their fellow House Democrats just can't understand how. But, you know, whatever. They are sorry.

Really.

Are they? Let's take them up on this.

After all those Democratic platforms and conventions that championed slavery and segregation, what do you think the chances are they will use the occasion of Mr. Obama's nomination to have the Democratic platform formally apologize for the active, frequently violent and decidedly official support of the Democratic Party for slavery, segregation, lynching, the Ku Klux Klan and all the rest?

Better yet, do you think they'll pass a resolution promising to use the funds raised from all those Jefferson-Jackson Day fundraisers to pay reparations for slavery? (Did I mention that while the DNC discusses party co-founders Jefferson and Jackson, it neglects to mention that between them the two owned an estimated 360 slaves?)

Will the NAACP and other groups seeking reparations from nongovernment entities for their role in supporting slavery (companies like Aetna, Wachovia and Chase along with educational institutions like Brown University) finally zero in on the prime historical mover behind some of the worst chapters in American history? Will they sue the Democrats?

The Democrats are poised to nominate a black man for president of the United States. But will they apologize for slavery? Will they start paying reparations not from tax dollars but their own dollars for what they have done?

Do they have the guts to publicly admit what serious history records of their deeds? Are they capable of running a campaign without playing the race card as they have played it for the better part of two centuries? Can they even escape the race psychology that has indelibly branded them as America's Party of Race?

Or, when it comes to their own responsibility for race relations in America, will they order up more of what, under the circumstances, is a very appropriate word for the DNC website?
Whitewash.
